Our Appalachian hardwoods come from Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, and surrounding regions. Our certified hardwood flooring is backed by the NWFA/NOFMA Mill Quality Assurance Program for grade, moisture content, and milling consistency.

Premium Longleaf Pine with Historic Warmth

Our New Heart Pine is milled from premium Longleaf Southern Yellow Pine sourced in Alabama. It offers warm amber tones and historic character in newly milled flooring. Select & Better Vertical Grain—primarily in 2¼″ and 3¼″ widths—is a signature T&F offering.

New Heart Pine is outside the NOFMA program; it receives the same care and milling discipline.

We mill Southern Yellow Pine with the care we bring to hardwood flooring. End-matching on most widths and grades, plus nested random-length bundles, supports efficient handling and distributor inventory.

General Specifications

Construction

¾″ solid, unfinished flooring.

Hardwood widths

2¼″, 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″, and 8″. Additional widths may be available by species.

Lengths

Random lengths up to 10′. Actual lengths depend on species, grade, and available stock.

Milling

Precision tongue-and-groove, stress-relief grooves, kiln-drying, and careful grading. End-matching is standard on most species, grades, and widths; confirm project-specific requirements.

Hardwood grades

Select, #1 Common, #2 Common, and Character. White Oak also offers rift and quartered cuts; availability varies.

Pine options

New Heart Pine and Southern Yellow Pine have their own widths and grading systems. See each product page for details.

Quality assurance

Our certified hardwood flooring is independently inspected under the NWFA/NOFMA program. Pine products follow their own grading systems and receive the same care in milling and inspection.
